Switzerland, Zug. – June 27th – BUILD.5, a non-profit association dedicated to the creation of open source technology and creators of the BUILD.5 web3 plug & play platform, today announced that Mike Isaia, Technology Strategist & Solution Architect, Automation, Orchestration, Optimization at Cisco; Jan Nicolas Myklebust, Senior Solutions Architect, EMEA Ecosystem Tech Sales team at Red Hat; and Daniel Aubert, Senior Manager, DATA and AI Security, Networking and Development Support at IBM have been appointed to its Board of Advisors.

“Mike, Jan, and Daniel impressed us with their expertise, insight, and vision of how to expand the BUILD.5 platform into the largest corporate ecosystems in tech today,” said Founder of BUILD.5 Regine Haschka. “As working board members they have already proven to be essential advisors for the BUILD.5 Association and our mission.”

The 3 new advisors are a dynamic team of technology experts and proven innovators who have collaborated on a number of high profile projects, including the successful scaling of infrastructure startup Turbonomic, playing pivotal roles in the growth of that organization toward a 2 billion dollar acquisition by IBM, as well as on the ideation, design and go-to-market of the AIOP (Accenture Intelligent Orchestration Platform) that helped drive growth and scale the partnership with Accenture.

“After months of close collaboration, we are excited to formally have Mike, Daniel, and Jan on our Advisory Board and continue our work with them,” said Adam Kundrat, Founder of BUILD.5 and lead developer of the BUILD.5 platform. “Their collective talents and experience have been invaluable in accelerating the connections between web2 and web3 the world has been waiting for.”

Mike Isaia is currently a Technology Solutions Architect with Cisco, a global leader in networking, security, collaboration, and cloud management. He has 15+ years of experience accelerating high-growth enterprise tech startups ranging from emerging to unicorn status. Prior to Cisco Mike was a Solution Architect, Strategic Alliances with Turbonomic and various startups that were acquired by HP and Broadcom.

Jan Nicolas Myklebust is a Senior Solutions Architect with Red Hat, the leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions. He has 18+ years of experience in the IT industry as a proven Technology Architect, and manages the technical relationship with Accenture at EMEA level today. Prior to that, he was a network architect at the French Space Agency working on a range of international projects with partners like NASA and ESA. Jan was also 9+ years at Accenture, being part of the first ever Red Hat team there and ultimately holding the position as EMEA Red Hat Technology lead and chief architect of the Accenture Cloud Innovation Center in Zurich, where he helped ideate unique solutions to scale the partnership further.

Daniel Aubert is a Senior Manager with IBM’s Data and AI organization. IBM is a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI), with a wide range of products and services that help businesses of all sizes to adopt AI and achieve their business goals. Daniel has been with IBM for 25 years and currently leads a team of software, network, and DevOps engineers focused on developing and securing IBM’s latest AI products, like IBM Cloud Pak for Data and IBM Watsonx. He has personally led projects developing, evaluating, and implementing new products and technologies across IBM to support AI development. Prior to joining IBM, Daniel was a founder and IT consultant.

“The primary obstacle for mass adoption in Web3 has been the difficulty of integrating with existing corporate infrastructure,” said Isaia. “I look forward to helping BUILD.5 to expand the extremely strong foundation of its current code base to global markets through a tried and true playbook that Jan, Daniel, and I have used to scale similarly breakthrough technologies and organizations in the past. BUILD.5 has the potential to become a once in a lifetime technology with its critical capabilities to impact everything from confidential computing to artificial intelligence, and new categories such as NFT based digital twins.”
